What I like about the brocolli dog is it looks fairly simple to make, but took a lot of imagination to first visualize.

One of my favorites is a “Litter box” cake! Actually served in a “new” litter box, with a litter scoop used as a server – even put tootsie rolls on the top for affect.

I don’t need any reminders of my past experience with cats. 🙂
I found a receipe for a litter box cake, but I doubt I will be using it any time soon.

i love the ‘fish legs’ 🙂
i have seen some truly fabulous creations of carved watermelon!
and some very creative uses of peeled fruits and bread rolls – the Nike Sneaker you first posted is a great example of the latter and i think is about the ‘best’ representation of FOOD as art. (as opposed to making art out of something we may normally make’ food’ with).
Australia has a series of Public Interest (health) adverts on TV here that has some very artistic use of fruit and veg.

That was a very creative use of veggies. Although I would want to be as healthy as Veggie man, I don’t think I would want to look like him.
The ad might do more to scare kids more than to get them to want to eat more peas and carrots. 🙂
Thanks for posting the video. I will share with my twitter buddies.

They say you are what you eat – but i’m not that keen on becoming a vegetable! 😉
Maybe a couch potato??

If we were truly what we eat what would be be like?
That sounds like a great questions for a blog post.
For now I will just say I eat a lot of eggs. Does that make me cracked? Hard boiled? Many of my friends think my brains must be scrambled. 🙂

Hey Ed –
That is too funny. I can’t get over those fish high heels or whatever they are. Now, I’m really not a fan of fish! 😯 🙂

I guess if we can use snorkel fins to help us swim, fish can use high heels to walk. 🙂
Just remember to take their shoes off before you have fish for dinner. 🙂
